Who exactly is SkitsyCat?
The exact identity is secret!
You'll have to keep in touch with us and stay updated on our content to get to know Skitsy!
But for the sake of meeting the site's SEO requirements, we'll just say that she's a freelance character artist and a novice graphic animator.
You'll get a good idea of what person she might be like with this, heheh :-P
Does the SchatLabs universe have something to do with Multiple Personality Disorder? Does Skitsy have a Bipolar Disorder or DID?
No it does not, and SkitsyCat does not have, nor does she claim to have any of these conditions. This hasn't actually been asked yet, but it has to be disclaimed right from the beginning: Mental illness is no joking matter. We do not condone the unjust glorification of such conditions, nor do we condone any sort of mockery or spreading of false information about such conditions.

It was one of the early concepts from back in middle school though, deriving the name "Skitsy" from "Schizophrenia", and the name "DeeDee" from "DID" or "Dissociative Identity Disorder". At the time, Skitsy and DeeDee were supposed to be the two polar opposites representing a "righteous" character and an "evil" character, respectively. However, as the concepts developed with time, we came to realize that it was very unfair to have that kind of "good and bad" labeling for those who actually have these conditions, even if it's merely implied. The more we developed the concept, the more we wanted to remove that stigmatized meaning that founded this.

TL;DR: The SchatLabs, SkitsyCat, and the rest of the main cast have nothing to do with any mental illness or conditions. That may have been an ignorant middle-schooler's idea at first, but it is not what this concept is about anymore.
